A BILL to amend and reenact §20-2-35 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to wildlife resources; and providing that all hunting and fishing licenses are valid for one year from the date issued.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

            That §20-2-35 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:

ARTICLE 2. WILDLIFE RESOURCES.

§20-2-35. Period during which license valid.

            Licenses and permits provided by this chapter shall be valid through the last day of the calendar year for which they are issued unless otherwise provided by law: Provided, That all hunting and fishing licenses are valid for a period of one year from the date they are issued.

 


            NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to providing that all hunting and fishing licenses are valid for one year from the date issued rather than through the last day of the calendar year for which they are issued.
